Special Powers:

While the Cherubim stationed in heaven never eat, sleep, or age, because the power of the white light of creation sustains them indefinitely, those of their kind, who have fallen from grace, will grow weaker over time until they have the attributes of a normal angel.  No longer in peak physical condition, Granny Confection now possesses only enhanced strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and endurance.  Although the bones, muscles, ligaments, and cartilage in her body remain extremely dense, she is no longer virtually indestructible.  In fact, Granny Confection can be injured if struck by the correct type of weapon.  Luckily, her physiology still maintains an enhanced level of functionality, which allows her to heal from almost any wound or broken bone in a matter of seconds.

Special Abilities:

Besides her ability as a very capable combatant, Granny Confection is known for her cooking prowess.  Due to her extended stay on the planet Earth, she has learned many culinary tricks.  She makes a great Sunday sauce, one hell of a meatball, and the best chicken soup man has ever tasted.

Special Weapons:

Although not made of any special material, Granny Confection has on occasion thrown her shoes with sharpshooter-like precision to blind or incapacitate an enemy.  While she may carry a pair of adamant daggers in battle, or a bow created from the white light of creation that can shoot an infinite amount of arrows made from lightning, her greatest weapon is the seven-and-a-half-foot-tall fallen angel known as Nothingman, who accompanies her wherever she may roam.

Biography:

Along with her twin brother Gumdrop, the extremely old Granny Confection once belonged to a special class of angels known as the Cherubim.  In addition to the Seraphim, these angels could bask in the white light of creation and were extremely powerful.  After their fall from grace and because of the sibling's pedigree, Satanael always found a use for their skills.  Over time, the white light of creation coursing through the bodies of these fallen Cherubim faded, and as their immense power diminished, Satanael became less interested in them.

Eventually, the fallen angel Satanael forced Grannie Confection and Gumdrop into the role of Kismet's caretaker when he was an infant.  It was a job neither of them had wanted, but it was a task they agreed to fulfill because the life of Walnut, Pistachio, and Nothingman was hanging in the balance.  As Kismet grew, he formed a close bond with Granny Confection and Gumdrop.  They were an instrumental part of his childhood and he considered them his family.  Not only did she help raise him, but Granny Confection also taught Kismet the forbidden knowledge that many of the fallen angels wanted to keep secret from him.

Since Kismet considers Granny Confection a part of his family and someone he trusts wholeheartedly, he placed her in charge of a secretive group of Heathens called the Prison Posse.  This specially trained bunch watches over the immortal threats that Kismet has captured.  They also make sure that these incarcerated miscreants spill every secret held within their heads.  Deep in the bowels of the Gravesend Penitentiary is where these defeated foes now reside and where the Prison Posse extracts, by any means necessary, the information Kismet desires.

On occasion, Kismet will send the Prison Posse on dangerous secret missions to sabotage the wishes of the fallen angel Satanael and his vision of the future.  Other times, and to be a massive thorn in Yaqon's side while simultaneously making him look bad in the process, the Prison Posse is sent to disrupt the grand schemes the Council of Elders attempts to put in motion.
